We have a simple three step process to signing up to tuition.

Once you have booked your assessment one of our fantastic, friendly, team members will then contact you.
We want to find out more about what you are looking for and how we can support your child on their educational journey.
We have a wide range of different options to fit your family’s needs, including multiple lessons a week, different membership options, financial aids, and a range of conveniently located tuition centres.
Free Initial Assessment
and Tour
To understand more about your child’s ability and how we can support them, we offer a free initial assessment that allows our expert centre managers to give you unique analytical feedback and specialised advise.
The initial assessment provides us with quantitative data on the topics your child is excelling in and the areas they need some help.
With this information, we can find them the best class that suits their individual needs and advise our tutors about their specific areas of improvement.
The initial assessment takes around 25 minutes and follows an all-inclusive tour of our brilliant tuition centres.
On the tour, you will have the opportunity to see our outstanding resources, meet the dedicated tutors and experienced centre manager, visit a live tuition session, and learn more about the educational facilities we offer our pupils beyond the classroom.
Assessment Feedback Call
Once you have visited us, we will be in contact within two days to pass on your child’s results and craft a plan of academic progression.
During this conversation, our policy is to be upfront and honest, providing valuable and crucial information about how your child is currently getting on in relation to other pupils who have entered tuition at their age.
We will have a look at your availability for tuition sessions and match it to the class we believe would be best for your child.
Once we have booked your seat on our centre register and arranged your start date, we will get everything ready for your child’s first day at tuition!

Do you need a tutor to pass the 11+ exam?
At Smart 11+ Tuition we always say that this depends on the child.
Some children have a good capacity to learn independently at home. However, for many children the process of being guided through the process by a specialist in the 11+ will give them the support they need to be successful.
Learning the correct syllabus to pass the exam is important but our tutors offer so much more than that. We ensure your child is guided and supported every step of their 11+ journey and give the gift of confidence.
We inspire and encourage a problem-solving and continuous growth mindset and motivate your child to be the best they can be.
We believe that children preparing for ages 11 and up should enjoy the process and find joy in learning new skills and improving existing ones. Children at Smart 11+ develop many skills along with those covered in the exam to be balanced and confident.
There is no clear-cut answer to this question, and it very much depends on the child. For some children they can pass the exam with minimal tuition, however, due to the extremely competitive nature of the 11+ exam many children require a more structured approach.
In our experience, it is most common for children to start their preparations in Year 4, however many children begin their journey in Year 3 and others begin in Year 5 and are successful. It comes down to each individual and their starting point.
We have a range of 11+ courses designed for children at different points in their 11+ journey.
We know from experience that the best preparation for exams cannot be achieved in a brief period of time. Our approach is designed to support children before, during, and after exams.
