Now that all the sessions have been completed for 2019, I thought I would just pen a quick blog to celebrate an exceptionally successful year and have a look forward to the next year.
The biggest and most exciting event of the year was the opening of Smart 11+ Tuition’s newest centre in Sutton Coldfield. Based at John Willmott School, we’re able to provide our exceptional learning to the pupils of north Birmingham and Sutton Coldfield in a purpose-built environment. We were fortunate that a couple of our tutors who were travelling from the area to work with us in Solihull were able to carry over their knowledge and passion to the new centre and I am very grateful to Vice Principal, Emily, for helping me get this up and running. We know how passionate parents in this area are about our local grammar schools and we are continuing to develop plans for other parts of the West Midlands. Watch this space…
I’d also like to place on record my thanks to all my tutors for their hard work this year. Many of them are currently working in our primary and secondary schools during the week. I am very grateful to them for their time in helping all our pupils to reach their full potential. I’ve been fortunate to be able to bring in more qualified teachers to be able to provide even more lessons for the children of Solihull, Sutton Coldfield and the wider West Midlands. Their expertise will be invaluable for our students and I welcome them to our centres.
A note of thanks must also go to you as parents. You have taken the opportunity to build on your child’s potential. I am very proud that you have chosen Smart 11+ Tuition and I know that my staff and I will do all we can to help them build the knowledge and skills for the 11+ exam. This year has also been great for the charitable endeavours of our parents. As well as taking part in events like Christmas Jumper Day, some of our parents have even organised bake sales and events for local charities and causes. This has been so pleasing seeing the community which has built around our centre. At this time of year it is great to be able to reflect on such generosity, so thanks to everyone who has been active within our centres this year.
From me and my family, I would like to wish all those celebrating a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. I hope you have a peaceful and relaxing break.
